Teaching Philosophy
Our voices are who we are. With my help, you can develop the skills and confidence you need to uncover your authentic voice.
The foundation of my teaching philosophy is built on a distinctive blend of speech-level singing and old-school Belcanto technique. This method is straightforward and can hone anyone’s vocal abilities—regardless of genre or experience.
What truly sets me apart, however, is my dedication to fostering the emotional work that comes with exploring your voice. Together, we will identify thought patterns contributing to technical issues and work to develop an approach to singing that feels natural, free, and easy.
With the proper guidance, steadfast devotion, and an open mind, anyone can learn how to sing!

About Me
I wasn’t born with incredible, innate singing ability. Still, my drive and determination propelled me to become the musician and educator I am today—all it took was a healthy dose of passion, practice, and patience.
As a struggling teen from a broken home, music helped me to discover who I truly was. It ignited a fire inside that led to an insatiable appetite for music and the voice.
Under the tutelage of a few incredible educators, I was able to find my voice and unlock the confidence I always had within. These amazing humans quite literally changed my life forever.
From the day I decided to become a teacher, I have, and will always aspire to, echo the same support and guidance I was given, cognizant of the difference it can make. It is my life’s work to give back through this art form and to help each student get closer to achieving their dreams.
